Tony Millington R I P
A great entertainer and goalie.and superfit sportsman

A Welsh International, somewhat flamboyant entertaining style of football.
But also a very brave feller who when called upon did everything possible to keep his team s defence untouched by goals.
I saw him once eating a pie whilst his team mate took a penalty against the opposition.

RIP Tony ,you were a great entertainer.superb Goalie and a Top Bloke

I just read the Alan Woodward obit

He died in May of this year
A wonderfully gifted right winger he had a tremendously powerful kick and scored heaps of goals
Undoubtedly one of England's best uncapped players along with Pop ROBSON Billy BONDS.and Jools.

Ronno

It was my interpretation of what you wrote.....

"Well, I suppose if no goals were ever conceded by any team, then no football fan would have to suffer the anguish of defeat."

That would seem a reasonable conclusion. Has anyone suggested such a change to the game, though?

I think FIFA and the UN need to create a combined position and immediately appoint Hugh to that role.
He is clearly on to something here.
